TASSO - bowls
-
Client : Private commission
Year : 2019Tasso is a collection of accessories revisiting woodworking on the lathe. It is composed of vases and empty-pockets. Their singularity is to be made of cleats of partially formed solid wood. We then obtain objects in two parts : one is drawn, turned and finely carved the other is left blank as an archaic base of the object. Roughing pretense, these are objects all in shape contrast translating the possibilities of the wood material. Tasso is so an interpretation of two states : raw and delicate, rustic and refined.
